Mereka Yang berjaya di BLUES AWARD 2008

Berita yang sedikit terlambat, tentang penganugerahan Blues Award, atau yang dulu dikenal sebagai WC Handy Award, ternyata telah berlangsung 8 Mei lalu mengambil tempat di Grand Casino Event Centre, Tunicca, Mississipi Sehari sebelum event penganugerah Blues Award diadakan malam penganugerahan Hall Of Fame bagi gitaris Hubert Sumlin, Johnny 'Guitar' Watson, pianis Jimmy McCracklin, vocalis Jimmy Witherspoon, kelompok blues pra Perang Dunia ke II, Mississipi Sheik dan pemusik country blues Peetie Weatstraw.

Sedangkan mereka yang terpilih oleh para anggota The Blues Foundation untuk mendapat Blues Award yang diumumkan sehari setelah pengumuman Hall Of Fame adalah
